Behavioral Health Clinic > Speech Services
The Faison Center offers speech and language intervention services for clients that are already participating in another program at The Faison Center. Under the supervision of a clinician who holds dual certifications as a speech language pathologist and behavior analyst, our team is able to provide comprehensive evaluations and empirically-driven direct clinical services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Areas of evaluation and treatment include developmental delays, fluency disorders, Apraxia of speech, augmentative communication, social communication, articulation/phonological disorders, cognitive disorders, some feeding/swallowing problems and auditory processing disorders. Therapy can occur in our onsite clinic, in a community setting or in another supportive and collaborative environment (i.e. school or home). Outreach endeavors/caregiver trainings and consultations are also available to assist in expanding the applications of the intervention.
