Rachel Ernest

Director of The Behavioral Health Clinic

Prior to coming to The Faison Center, Rachel served as the Director of Clinical Services at Dominion ABA. She was also a Preschool Autism teacher for Henrico County Public Schools as well as a Classroom Behavior Therapist for the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism’s Learner School in Cleveland, Ohio.
 
Rachel joined The Faison Center in 2016 as the Program Supervisor of the Early Education Center. During her time in the Behavioral Health Clinic, Rachel has assisted in growing the size of the EEC program and has helped develop our successful inclusion partnership with Westhampton Day School. She has also worked on creating our Therapeutic Consultation department and our Diagnostic Clinic. As the parent of a child with autism, Rachel is dedicated to improving client access to diagnostic and intervention services,
both in early childhood and across the lifespan.


Rachel received her M.S. from Kent State University and her Master of Early Childhood Special Education from Cleveland State University. She is a Virginia-licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as well as a licensed Special Education teacher. She is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysts International and the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysis.
