Behavioral Consultation
Behavioral Consultation, at The Faison Center, is a short-term consultation service by a licensed behavior analyst or assistant behavior analyst designed to address pressing behavioral difficulties that are restricting an individual’s ability to function in the community.
A licensed behavior analyst or assistant behavior analyst will travel to where the behavioral difficulties are occurring and will assist the client by conducting assessments, designing behavior intervention plans, training caregivers, and monitoring the effectiveness of the intervention. The goal of Behavioral Consultation is to replace problematic behaviors with socially appropriate ones that allow the individual client to more fully engage in their community.
